I can't recall a situation where I had issues with it, even playing in colder Canadian style fall / spring weather.Yes, it's a new generation of Glocks … the Gen5! I also run 4 mags, one in the pistol, and 3 on the belt. It's not that it always runs out, but I don't want any surprises mid round. When it's colder out, I usually have to refill the gas or top up after every mag to ensure consistency. In normal conditions, I can get 3 reloads per fill (60'ish shots) and usually somewhere at the tail of the 3rd reload or top of a 4th does it run out. Even when I would have a mag that is very cold to touch with bare skin for more than a second, I am usually able to get a consistent 20'ish shots out of each mag without loss of velocity/pressure. In those instances, it's more about the rate of fire and reloading AFTER your first mag. Hmm, can't recall what temps I've gotten it down to, but I've often fired at IPSC style courses where I'm going through dozens of reloads and high rates of fire in a very short period of time.
